The XRAY M18 has recently been approved for use in IMCRA (International Model Racing Association) racing events; it now appears in the Approved Equipment list on the IMCRA homepage at www.imcra.org. IMCRA is a sanctioning body for 1/18th scale RC racing.
During the approval process, IMCRA assessed the M18 using the following criteria:
⢠Meets IMCRA class/category requirements
⢠Quality construction
⢠Reputable manufacturer
⢠Reasonable street price
⢠Current availability in the marketplace
Normally, a manufacturer will petition IMCRA to have their vehicle reviewed for approval. However, in the case of the XRAY M18, the 1/18th scale racing community approached IMCRA and requested that the XRAY M18 be added to the IMCRA approval list. After a review and demonstration of the M18, it was approved. IMCRA indicated to XRAY that they would enjoy the opportunity to review any other 1/18th scale equipment produced by XRAY.
